Step 2 – Small Six-board Chest

Article Image

That is the second step in making a mannequin of the Small
Six-board Chest. I’ve proven beneath the ultimate consequence after about
10 steps.

Step 2:  the picture beneath reveals the scanned picture
in SketchUp created in step one. On prime of that
picture use the Line and Arc Instruments to hint over the form of the
Finish element. It helps to precisely place Pointers with the
Tape Measure to precisely measurement the form to the precise
dimensions proven within the drawing. Then double click on the mouse on
the traced form, proper click on, and select Make Group from the
pop-up menu. You’ll be able to see the highlighted chosen group within the
picture beneath.

Observe that I’m not able to name this form a “element” known as
Finish. I’ll try this later, and maintain that step when I’m
assured in regards to the following Finish modifications. I like to carry
the unique traceover on the scanned picture. If I make it a
element, the traceover on the scan will change as I
make adjustments to the element within the design. Having it as
a Group, means I can again observe if vital and modify the
unique traceover.

The video is of creating this form is proven on the next
video.
