Premier League transfer news: Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham latest signing updates

LOIC Remy is set to leave Chelsea this summer with Marseille
and Everton interested in signing the forward, Sky
Sports
sources understand.

The Frenchman will fly to China this week for the club’s
pre-season tour of the Far East but will be allowed to leave the club if they
sign a new centre forward.

Remy would like to stay at the Premier League champions but
realises he will have limited first-team opportunities this
season, according to Sky sources.

The former QPR and Newcastle forward, who has 12 months left on
his contract, scored twice on Saturday in Chelsea’s 8-2 win
over Fulham in a friendly at their Cobham training ground.

Chelsea signed the striker for £10m from QPR in 2014 but
injuries have seen him restricted to only 32 Premier League
appearances.

He was loaned to Crystal Palace last season but made only five
league appearances after injuring his ankle in training last
September.

It comes after Chelsea were offered the chance to sign
Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for £70
million
, according to Sky sources.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are closing in on the signing of
young Argentinian centre-back Juan Foyth, according to Sky
sources.

Sky Sports News HQ understands Spurs are currently in
talks with the Estudiantes president – the former Chelsea and
Manchester United star Juan Sebastian Veron – over a deal worth
in the region of £8m for the 19-year-old.

Veron, who was an Argentina team-mate of Spurs boss Mauricio
Pochettino, is understood to have been in London over the past
few days and the player has said he is keen on making the move
to Europe.

Should an agreement be finalised, Foyth’s move would be subject
to obtaining a work permit.

Foyth was quoted last week saying he had read on social media
that Spurs were interested but had not had confirmation from
his agent, but the youngster has since been quoted by an
Argentinian newspaper stating he was aware of negotiations.

The La Plata-born defender is expected go straight into Spurs’
U23 group and become an understudy to Toby Alderweireld, to
whom he is similar in stature and style.

Tottenham have been in the market for a centre-back with the
future of Kevin Wimmer uncertain. The Austria international
admitted last week that he was thinking of leaving the club and
Sky sources understand Spurs are prepared to let him go
for the right fee.

Spurs are yet to make a signing this summer and sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City for a fee
in excess of £50m last week.
They are interested in Ricardo
Pereira as his replacement but are yet to move on the Porto
man.

Finally, West Ham will make a third bid for Stoke City winger
Marko Arnautovic when the time is right, according to
Sky sources.

The east London club have already failed with two offers for
the 28-year-old, the first at £15m and a second of £20m.

Sky sources reported earlier this month that forward
Arnautovic had become frustrated at the situation and handed in
a transfer request.

Sky Sports News HQ has been told that the Austria
international wants the move to West Ham to join up with Slaven
Bilic, but Stoke do not want to sell him.

Regardless, he is currently on a spell on the sidelines with a
knee injury suffered in a pre-season friendly.

Arnautovic was forced off shortly before half-time in the
victory over Swiss side Neuchatel Xamax, after falling
awkwardly in the penalty area when attempting to complete a
cross.

Arnautovic joined Stoke in a £2m from Werder Bremen in 2013 and
has scored 26 goals in over 100 appearances for the Potters.
